I always had an interest in music. My father played piano and my mother sang. I started singing at 6 and won a “Hart Bread” talent show in the 60’s.
I formed my own band at 13 and did my first free concert at Trezevant High School in the 70’s. I then went to serve in the Army until 1980.
After the military, I went on to play with all the great blues legends: Albert King, Marvin Sease, Al Green, Denise Lasalle, Shirley Brown, etc;
I also recorded on the Juke Joint All Stars Vol. 2 playing bass and vocals. I am a member of the Juke Joint All Stars for life!
