Kevion’s style is impressive. His voice is full of the irony that makes the blues universal: sadness and longing, but also a great sense of humor. Many singers older than he would be better off to learn from his basic wisdom, a young man of 13.
Kevion has many mentors on Beale St. These musicians are happy to give him advice and encouragement. Many of these players have recorded and performed with the likes of Al Green, Albert King, Isaac Hayes, Ann Peebles, and Buddy Guy…many artists to numerous to mention.
